Process Integration

Integrating business processes into familiar desktop applications using the latest .NET technology.

What do we mean by Process Integration?

Well often, organizations spend time and money automating back-end business processes without thinking about how LOB applications fit into how people actually do their work and collaborate. Often, automating a backend process means a new front end application. These systems are not flexible or intuitive to how people access, manipulate and update that data. Ideally we would like to integrate this information access and processing into a familiar suite of tools at the front end. This in turn will help people interact with rich data systems to make rapid business decisions, create and submit invoices, process orders, and respond to customer problems in an efficient manner.

How Daysha can help

Our software development team have the expertise and knowledge to extend the Microsoft Office suite so that it integrates and even implements many of your business processes. Using the Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO) toolkit, we can develop application and document plug-ins that will enable information workers to access the data and services they need from within a very familiar environment.

By leveraging the desktop applications we are all familiar with we improve the user experience, reduce the desktop footprint, and reduce training and support costs.

In addition to this we use Microsoft Office Groove and Microsoft Office InfoPath to build collaborative form-based applications which can store and retrieve information in and out of LOB systems.Other relevant products include Microsoft BizTalk Server and Windows Workflow Foundation.

Our Experience

Our most recent experience in Process Integration, involved extending the capabilities of Excel with a completely new toolset to enable aerospace engineers at the European Space Agency to exchange data with their colleagues. We were able to integrate the Excel Addin we developed with a back-end object-oriented database through a set of web-services. Read More
