Service Integration
Bridging the Service and Project Delivery organizations, Daysha Consulting can provide an ITIL aligned set of steps and processes. These steps and processes collectively are known as Service Integration.

This service guides projects and programmes from initiation through to production in a controlled manner that ensures a successful delivery and a product or service that is supportable and maintainable after go-live.

This also allows for standard compliance and audit issues to be applied across projects and programmes and will close these gaps that occur when there is no consistent process or processes in place to cater for these.

Depending on the size and complexity of a Project / Change, elements or collection of elements can be taken from the processes and tailored appropriately for the release.

In addition to functional requirements, Service Integration also looks at the Non-Functional requirements associated with project deliverables. These may include areas, such as:

  • Backup and Recovery
  • Performance Testing
  • Capacity Management
  • High Availabilty
  • Stress Testing
  • Co-existence Testing

These are then mapped and included in a set of tests known collectively as Operational Acceptance Testing. It is only when these tests are met successfully that the service organization will accept a project into production and can maintain and support the change going forward.
